    Stella Braun (she/her)

    FOUNDER

    I am an ECE & postpartum doula. I spent my days working with toddlers, newborns, and their supporting their families. I have a strong passion for outdoor and Waldorf education. I founded Wild Child Playgroup in January 2023 with the dream of creating community of like-minded caregivers who want to be outside no matter the weather. In the future, my goal is to expand Wild Child into a nature-based community centre; offering a Waldorf preschool and prenatal and postpartum support along with an outdoor playgroup.

    You’ll see me every week leading playgroup alongside our amazing volunteers. I also manage the social media.

    Kaela Brite (they/she)

    CIRCLE TIME LEADER

    I'm an artist, photographer and professional nanny of 10 years with a special focus in working with neurodiverse families. I use a blend of responsive parenting, Montessori and unschooling based methods to help raise amazing humans. You can find me leading playgroup, taking pictures at each new location and doing circle time.

    VOLUNTEER

    My background is as a preschool teacher and an educational assistant. When I first heard about Wild Child I knew it was something I wanted to be part of! I am a momma of three and enjoy spending as much time in nature as possible.
